Call To Order 11:02am

Sole Business

Compensation for snow removal. Kreckman to present spreadsheet identifying city cost vs airport costs at January meeting.

Motion to compensate for snow removal as follows:

$20/hr for hours logged on airport tractor for snow removal from November 1 through January 10, 2008

$40/hr for hours logged on Airport Manager's truck for snow removal from November 1 through December 19, 2007.

Kreckman/Smith Ayes: Whittington,Smith, Caffrey, Kreckman Nays: Hargrave, McKenna. Passed.

Minutes/Warrants/Delegations

• Minutes approved as presented.
• Warrants 08-015, 08-016 & 08-017 Smith/Kreckman, unanimously approved

Old Business

• Kreckman to forward modified lease language (regarding non-aircraft equipment storage) to Bob Moffit for his review
• Bullard to contact City Treasurer regarding insurance claim from Summer 2006. (Radio destroyed)
• Laura from MDOT/Aviation has imformed us the there are no remaining construction proceeds.
• Commission had previously authorized Michael Baker Jr & Associates to proceed to with Fuel System Proposal, accordingly our Request for Proposal would involve paying for work to be repeated. We will not be requesting a Proposal from another firm at this time.
  

Manager's Report

• Basil Bullard to attend MAP meeting in Lansing today to present 5 yr plan.

New Business

• Secretary will forward minutes directly to commission members
• We will have an informal gathering the evening of Friday, February 1, 2008 in lieu of a Christmas party in 2007
• Snow Plowing: Discussion regarding payment of personnel to operate tractor. Misunderstanding regarding 8/24/2007 tractor proposal. Discussion rapidly degenerated into a mêlée from which order could not be restored. Bullard, Whittington & Kreckman agreed to meet and identify issues at a subsequent date.
